Sponsors Needed

We have kids that need sponsorship. Please click on the photo or a sponsor link and browse through the gallery of kids that are attending this year that you would like to sponsor. Each kid will have the ability to interact with you during camp to let you see what kinds of things they are doing and learning. You may either fully or partially sponsor a child. The cost of full sponsorship is $250.

General Information

The Camp is open and running; Every weekday, 8 hours each day, from July 7th until August 15

Safe Haven is a ministry of Trinity Reformed Church in the heart of Newark NJ, East Ward section. The camp is six weeks long and goes from July 7th -August 15th. Every day the kids arrive at 9 am for breakfast and then spend the next three hours learning about God and his love for them and the power he has to change their lives. After lunch we have many different educational and recreational activities. Safe Haven Summer camp is also a job development and mentorship program for teenagers from the community. This year we have 50 kids registered for camp and 15 youth staff helping run it.
